As a Commissioning manager (m/f/d) with expertise in electrical engineering and management you’ll be responsible for completion of the plant ensuring safe and reliable operation
Working places can be all around the world, including offshore locations
Your tasks
- Responsible for leading technically flawless, on-time and on-budget the commissioning of an HVDC plant
- Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and quality standards; document all actions and fulfill supervisory duties
- Create and maintain system documentation, including test results and fault logs, per regulatory and quality requirements
- Manage changes, deviations, and final as-built documentation in coordination with project stakeholders
- Lead and allocate commissioning staff and third-party personnel in collaboration with site management
- Support the project management in risk and claim management as well as planning and organization of tests
Your qualifications
- Degree in Electrical engineering, Energy engineering or comparable technical education
- Professional experience in the field of commissioning or commissioning management of large plants (e.g. HVDC plants, power plants, power distribution systems, …)
- Knowledge in commissioning of multiple systems/areas (HV, MV, transformers, protection & control, …)
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards and HSE practices
- Structured and solution-oriented approach with proven experience in leading international project teams
- Able to travel internationally; fluent in written and spoken English
- German language skills are an advantage
- Some positions require willingness for offshore locations, resp certifications according to GWO standards: Survival at Sea, Working at Height, HUET, …
