Construction Site Manager for Converter Stations (m/f/d)

As a construction site manager (m/f/d) with a background in electrical engineering, you will be responsible for the professional execution of complex energy and power plant projects in Italy. You will coordinate all processes on the construction site - from technical implementation and adherence to deadlines and quality standards to managing your team. With foresight, organizational skills, and a keen sense for pragmatic solutions, you will ensure that all project participants work hand in hand. In doing so, you will confidently represent the interests of our company to customers, partners, and authorities – thus contributing significantly to the successful completion of our projects.

Your tasks

• Managing and coordinating the construction site from a technical, scheduling, and commercial perspective
• Acting as the main interface between the client, partners, and project team - including reporting and coordination on contract and HSE topics
• Controlling and monitoring subcontractors in terms of quality, safety, and performance
• Ensuring structured, up-to-date documentation (construction progress, inspections, as-built documents)
• Implementing and enforcing all HSE and quality requirements on the construction site
• Analysis of project progress, identification of risks, and initiation of appropriate countermeasures in the event of deviations

Your qualifications

• Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in construction or project management of electrical engineering systems, ideally in power plant or industrial construction
• In-depth knowledge of HSE, quality management, and construction management
• Confident manner, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
• Very good English skills and fluent Italian
• Willingness to travel extensively and a valid EU driving licence
