Shift Supervisor / Senior Operator (m/f/d)
Combined Cycle Power Plant (Commissioning Phase)
The Shift Supervisor / Senior Operator (m/f/d) supports the safe and reliable operation of a 560 MW single-shaft CCGT unit throughout all commissioning phases. The role covers shift leadership, Siemens T3000 control room operation, coordination of routine and non-routine activities, and structured communication within an international, multi-disciplinary commissioning environment.
Your tasks
- Operate GT, HRSG, ST and Balance-of-Plant systems safely during commissioning, both from the control room and in the field
- Execute start-up, shutdown, system changeovers and approved procedures in line with commissioning instructions and operating manuals
- Monitor operating conditions, alarms and warnings; ensure adherence to operational parameters and maintain accurate shift logs
- Lead the shift team, manage handovers and provide timely updates to commissioning management
- Support functional, integration and performance tests, including coordination with commissioning engineers
- Investigate disturbances, perform initial troubleshooting, issue formal fault notifications and escalate findings when required
Your qualifications
- Several years of experience as Shift Supervisor, Senior Operator or in a comparable operational role in CCGT, gas or steam power plants, preferably with commissioning exposure
- Strong operational understanding of commissioning workflows, operating sequences and plant protection systems
- Proficient in Siemens T3000 DCS (mandatory)
- Structured working style, strong sense of responsibility and confident handling of HSE and PTW/LOTO requirements
- Familiarity with commissioning documentation, operational manuals and project procedures
- Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written)
