Commissioning Engineer for IT Network Communication and SCADA in HVDC Projects (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Implementation of network solutions and IT security concepts within HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current) control systems
• Implementation and logical programming on WinCC OA system
• Coordination and adaptation of technical concepts in cooperation with control engineering experts
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Problem analysis and modifications within IT networks and WinCC OA
• Functional testing of operational technology (OT/IT)  and SCADA system

Your qualifications

• Knowledge of communication components (switches, routers, firewalls, servers, industrial bus systems)
• Experience with system protocols and system logs (e.g. PROFINET, Modbus)
• Experience with Siemens WinCC OA system integration
• Configuration of deployed components (Cisco, Ruggedcom, Check Point, etc.)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken 
• German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel
• Some positions require offshore experience
