Technical Engineer Piping (m/f/d) – Nuclear / Energy Projects
In this position, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing piping specifications for the secondary circuit of a nuclear power plant. You will be responsible for technical design in accordance with international standards and will work closely with interdisciplinary and international project teams.
You can expect a challenging project in an energy and safety-related environment with a high level of technical depth.

Your tasks

Creation and review of piping specifications for the secondary circuit (e.g., steam, condensate, and feed water systems)

Design of piping, including material selection, wall thicknesses, and pressure and temperature classes

Application of and compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, RCC-M, EN, ISO)

Technical coordination and interface clarification with adjacent trades such as apparatus engineering, steel construction, and EMSR

Review of technical documentation, isometrics, and manufacturer and supplier documentation

Participation in design reviews and, if necessary, technical support during the execution phase
Your qualifications
-
Completed degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or comparable qualification.
Alternatively: technician or master craftsman with relevant professional experience. -
Several years of professional experience in pipeline or plant construction.

In-depth knowledge of pipeline system specifications, ideally in power plant or industrial plant construction.

Experience in complex large-scale projects (e.g., power plants, energy, oil & gas); nuclear experience is an advantage

Confident handling of technical regulations, standards, and specifications

Very good English skills (project and documentation language); German skills are an advantage
