Project Risk Manager HVDC (m/f/d)
Your expertise for confident decisions in complex offshore projects
Bring your risk management expertise to a pioneering offshore infrastructure project. As a Project Risk Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping the risk strategy of a highly complex HVDC project – and contribute significantly to its safe and efficient execution.
Your tasks
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management plan in line with ISO 31000:2018
- Facilitate and lead risk workshops with interdisciplinary teams, project partners, and clients
- Maintain the risk register and prepare sound risk analyses and management reports to support decision-making
- Integrate Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for cost and schedule to enable data-driven decisions
- Foster a proactive risk culture within the project and establish risk-informed decision-making processes
- Continuously improve and automate tools, processes, and templates within the risk management framework
Your qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in risk management for complex technical large-scale projects, ideally in the infrastructure or energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA) and the development and implementation of professional risk strategies
- Confident user of industry-standard tools such as @Risk, Safran, ARM or Xactium, plus strong Excel skills
- High level of initiative, analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and structured way
- Fluent in English and proficient in German
