As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring and optimising quality standards in piping technologies. Your tasks will include monitoring product quality, implementing quality control procedures and liaising with various teams to ensure high quality standards.

Your tasks

  • Review and approval of all required assembly instructions. The check includes whether all customer regulations have been taken into account and whether information on acceptance criteria and limit values have been specified
  • Coordination of all quality-related site activities to fulfil contractual agreements
  • Review of all project specifications and customer documents, if necessary with the involvement of required departments
  • Check of all regulations and work instructions which are necessary for the execution of special processes or which are prescribed by the customer
  • QA/QC staff resource planning and training
  • Technical handling of NCRs
  • Monitoring and approval of project documentation and reporting on key KPIs

Your qualifications

  • Qualified to Bachelor/Master’s degree level in materials science, physics, mechanical engineering or similar
  • At least five years of proven experience as QPM in piping technologies (austenitic and ferritic materials) in a highly regulated industry preferably in nuclear technology
  • Proven experience in the preparation of pre-inspection documents such as inspection plans, quality related procedures and sequence plans
  • Preferable knowledge of manufacturing codes such as RCCM, ASME or CODAP
  • Welding qualifications such as IIW IWE / IWT / IWS or TWI CSWIP or AWS CWEng / CWS / SCWI or similar are preferred
  • Certification (DIN EN ISO 9712 / BINDT-PCN) for non-destructive testing including VT, RT, PT, MT or UT is preferred
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word
