Your tasks

• Integration tests and functional tests of HVDC control technology in the test centre
• Execution and documentation of functional performance tests (FPT) and dynamic performance tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and customer acceptance tests
• Timely and professional handling of commissioning of HVDC systems on site (worldwide)
• Active support of the project managers in risk and claim management
• Participation in improvement programmes (e.g. lean, reviews and lessons learned)

Your qualifications

• Completed studies as electrical engineer, energy technology or comparable further education
• Professional experience in the field of plant commissioning is an advantage
• Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: project planning and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, grid protection systems/protection relays & BCU (DIGSI / Siprotec V4/5)
• Good knowledge or experience in HVDC systems 
• Knowledge of current and voltage transformers, other primary components as well as grid protection / control technology and other secondary systems
• Good command of English, further language skills are very welcome
• Willingness for worldwide commissioning desirable
