We are looking for electrical engineers (m/f/d) with experience in commissioning HVDC/Open Loop Control & AC Protection".

Your tasks

• Execution and documentation of functional performance tests (FPT) and dynamic performance tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and software including customer acceptance tests in the test centre
• Planning, execution and evaluation of C&P hardware at subcontractors (acceptance tests)
• Creation and implementation of test procedures for the AC protection and Open Loop Control systems
• Timely and professional handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems (worldwide)
• Supporting the commissioning management in quality, risk and claim management
• Participation in improvement programmes (e.g. lean, reviews and lessons learned)

Your qualifications

• Completed training as a technician or degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable further qualifications
• Good knowledge of one or more: grid protection systems/ protection relays & BCU (DIGSI / Siprotec V4/5); testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC
• Knowledge or professional experience in the field of electrical power supply and commissioning of electrical systems or HVDC systems
• Knowledge of current and voltage transformers and other primary components
• Good command of English, further language skills are very welcome
• Willingness to travel on business and long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad
