Your tasks

• Responsiblility for the networks and individual components of the SCADA level, which are used as part of the control technology for high-voltage direct current transmission projects (HVDC)
• Commissioning of the mostly TCP-based network infrastructure and the support and control of the HMI concept as well as its purpose-specific adaptation
• Time synchronization as well as local and remote signal converters and act as the interface to all other signal suppliers involved
• Responsible for internal employees and external customers and for planning and carryomg out training courses on the network / HMI / signal converter
• Support the other commissioning components and after-sales in troubleshooting and testing the communication interfaces as well as supporting the various systems with each other
• IBS management in quality, risk and claim management 
• Participate in improvement programs (e.g. lean, reviews and lessons learned)

Your qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or several years of practical work experience in systematic troubleshooting of complex electrical and/or electronic systems
• Affinity for working with and on computers as well as basic knowledge of programming and visualization of processes
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, domains and an understanding of IT security
• Good command of German and English. Other language skills are very welcome
• Willingness to travel worldwide on business trips and predominantly multi-month assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad as well as optional assignments on offshore platformsnication and industrial networks (e.g. SCALANCE / RUGGEDCOM) as well as network management (e.g. SINEC NMS)
