Your tasks
- Inspections and final inspections during production in cooperation with our customers and inspection organizations
- Assist management in reviewing work instructions and inspection plans prepared by our contractors. Review in accordance with the RCC-M code, customer specifications, and ISO standards
- Reporting of inspection results and preparation of non-conformance reports as required.
- Supporting the quality management team in the supplier evaluation process
- Supporting the expediting team in the supplier evaluation process
Your qualifications
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or similar
- Certified as a welding engineer, technician or specialist
- At least three years of demonstrated experience as a QA inspector in pipeline engineering (austenitic and ferritic materials) preferably in nuclear power plant engineering
- Valid certifications for non-destructive testing such as UT, VT, RT, PT, MT according to DIN EN ISO 9712
- Knowledge in: DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; EN, ASME, RCC-M Code
- Processes in the production of pipes and related material (supports, expansion joints, ...) are an advantage
- Experience in dealing with testing organizations (e.g. TÜV, APAVE, etc.)
- Proven experience in the preparation/review of work instructions and test plans
- Professional written and spoken English language skills, German is an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office software
- Class B driver's license
